Our Approach

Adaptive design is not simply the addition of a specialized closure or functional feature. It requires an understanding of movement, dexterity, mobility, sensory comfort, medical needs, caregiver interaction, and personal style.

Sparkies approaches each project through four connected stages:

Listen
We gather insights from wearers, caregivers, professionals, community partners, and other stakeholders.

Design
We translate those insights into garment concepts that balance accessibility, appearance, comfort, and commercial viability.

Test and Refine
We evaluate prototypes for fit, function, dressing ease, material performance, and the realities of everyday use.

Prepare for Delivery
We support technical development, sourcing, quality evaluation, manufacturing coordination, and market presentation.

Designed for Different Dressing Experiences

Our work may support people who:

* Dress independently but experience limited mobility or dexterity

* Receive assistance from a caregiver or family member

* Are recovering from surgery or medical treatment

* Use wheelchairs or other mobility devices
